A security and bug fix release of SA-MP (0.3b) is now available on the Download Page.

This release also includes some new features and improvements to SA-MP. Here is a summary:

Updates for players

- Important client security updates
- Updates and fixes to the SA-MP server browser, including host name lookups for your favorites and samp:// URL handling
- Improved player and animation syncing
- Chat logging and time-stamping
- Files, including screenshots, now save to the GTA San Andreas User Files folder
- No restrictions on screen resolution size
- Several crash fixes and more

Updates for servers

- New vehicle velocity and rotation functions
- Ability to track all player animations
- Players can be scripted to hold objects
- A threaded HTTP client for pawn (beta)
- New object limit of 400 and the ability to change object draw distance
- Many bug fixes and more

The Mob [MOB] is now officially four years old being founded back in Jul.30.2006, boy have we been through a lot!
So much positive has happened within the last year and I have no one else to thank but members of the community. I started this never expecting it to become so BIG or last so loooooong it’s incredible.

Since we were able to transfer our forums which now has grown to:

• 72479 Posts
• 4352 Topics
• 2492 Members

Which I personally think is amazing, having seen it at 10 posts all made by me haha.  Forum cms has been changed to SMF which is more functional than phbb which we were previously on. The transfer did take some time but worked out just fine. The website’s homepage has been completely transformed, giving everyone an opportunity to use a bg they see fit.
[MOB] has been all about teamwork without you we wouldn’t be around this long! Leaders must be commended for not only keeping it together this long but also sticking around! Without you members they would be no [MOB] so I thank you all!

Since MOB has grown over the past years and the roster been through many changes, we needed an up to date version of finch's former MOB Intro video.

It has been a while since I gave a status update on The Mob, and so much has happen since the New Year!

Right now we have a whooping 5,000,000+ (5 Million) website hits, 69,000 posts on our forums and 2050+ website members! The sa-mp community has treated us well; we remain #1 even after all this time.

Member Activity:

Still hold regular training sessions, with 15-20 members on all at once. members to train, have matches, chill etc.

New Members:

I'll like to take this time to welcome all our new members and those who may have applied. I was told a couple years ago before I started material very well.
